Stoat XV

You're looking forward to an afternoon alone with your favorite 15-puzzle. Unfortunately, a robot has broken into your puzzle room--a robot with a cold!

This is an idea I had about how to make 15 puzzles more engaging. I'm not sure how successful it actually is, but my kids think it's fun so It can't be too bad. Plus, it has some interesting asymmetric coop play.

The goal is to eliminate as many robo-viruses as possible before you run out of ships. Player 1 moves tiles and player 2 moves the ship (both with respective D-pads). If you match the blue tile with the blue rectangle, you can clear the left two columns, which is important because the ship only fires to the right.

Play alone as player 1 to make the game much harder. Play as both players at once if you like rubbing your stomach and patting your head at the same time.

Technical:

This is a Sega Genesis/Mega Drive rom. It should work on real hardware using a flash cart or in emulation. I recommend Genesis Plus GX.
